APTR actin FSL ratio test

Can anyone tell me what this blood test is - daughter had previous positive test of 1.23 (<1.16) which was re-tested at 1.13. Not one of the Hughes Syndrome tests usually mentioned. Just wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of an explanation (googled it, but none the wiser!)

Thanks and best wishes

Thanks APsnotFab - took a while to get my head around it but a really interesting article, makes more sense now! Makes you realise how unexact the whole science is - no wonder those at the low end can take a LOOOOOONG time to get a diagnosis!
