Hi just wondering if anyone has managed to get the dreaded PIP while working part time. I have been off sick for a year and have been told I
Hi, there are people on here who have or are going through this process who can answer you more accurately. Glad to hear that the pain clinic is coming up trumps. Please be aware that you need to keep an eye on your Thyroid, at times this diagnosis is given, and it turns out that there is an underlying problem with this. As Professor Hughes often quotes and write, the trio of disease, Hughes, Thyroid and Sjogrens......is common. Unfortunately the tests are very unreliable, and also the diagnosis poor due to the narrow banding given to test results! MaryF
Thanks Mary - O yes I know you are the champion of the link between these - I have asked but of course they always say 'borderline' and it goes no further. I have found you have to pick your battles and timing - i do not want them to think i am trying to diagnose myself again (although that was how I got the APS diagnosis -I think as I like you am sero negative they are sceptical.) Yes the pain clinic has been a life saver - I am hoping they might ask people there for info rather than just GP....
Thanks APsnotFab I will give it a go - its just when i looked on the thing it didnt seem like i was bad enough and i thought it might look bad that i was able to do any sort of work
I have looked on some sites and it seems you have to think about your worse days - so on that basis i might be in with a chance. Thanks - it really helps hearing form others.
