Triple heart bypass
My husband is 6 weeks post triple
heart
bypass
pass. He continues to experience pain around his chest and he now has severe pain around the sternum. It doesn't seem to be improving. I'm looking for reassurance. Is it normal to experience severe pain 6 weeks post op. Thank you.

full heart bypass
I have had a full
heart
bypass
after just over 4 months waiting. I am now nearly 3 weeks post op. Nobody could have prepared me of how hard this is. I know I will feel better and I am getting stronger each day. The emotional rollercoaster is the worse.

Husband due triple heart bypass
Hi! My 62 year old husband is due to have OHS for a triple bypass at Papworth this year (he had LDA stents in 2011 following a heart attack which have since failed). We don't really have any information yet apart from that. Any advice on what to expect during and after, what recovery looks like, things

Triple Heart Bypass
Just posting an update on my situation. I am now 5 weeks post op and have been progressing slowly, learning to live with the effects of the op greatly helped by all the responses to my original post. The pain is beginning to subside (very slowly) and my walking has improved and I am doing 30 minutes

Survivor tattoo
Hi Just thought I’d share my first tattoo with you, following my
heart
bypass
on 18/01/23. The good part is that the area on my chest still has no feeling following the surgery.

Awaiting triple heart bypass op
First thing I know my chiropodist tells me I have an irregular heart beat and should get it checked out. 3 months later, CT scans etc. and an angiogram a few days ago at Papworth and I've been told I require a triple
heart
bypass
operation.

worried
my husband is currently in theatre having a triple
heart
bypass
. I feel so worried even though I know he’s in good hands. just wanted to seek some moral support. The waiting for news is quite stressful.

Triple Heart Bypass
I would like to say thank you to everyone who has replied to my post. Your responses have been very reassuring and I will certainly take on board all the advice I have been given. It seems that the doctors have to give a generalised timeline for recovery, whereas everyone is different and some may

Triple Heart Bypass
Hello, I am new to this community and am looking to find out if anyone has had the same symptoms as I am experiencing. I had a triple bypass 3 weeks ago and I am getting despondent because I don't feel that I will feel any better after 6 weeks which is when they said I could revert more back to normal

3 weeks post triple heart bypass
After the initial shock of needing a
bypass
after a
heart
attack, I was discharged from hospital having what felt like the sweats and palpitations in my chest, neck and back, reassuringly the ECG at hospital was normal.

Pains after heart bypass
Hi, had double
heart
bypass
2 weeks ago and at least once a day I get pains in my neck and chest which ease when I walk about. I did have a partially collapsed lung whilst in hospital and wondered if this was something to do with it. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar?

Heart bypass surgery
My boyfriend has recently been under the cardiologist for tests following mild angina symptoms and is now booked in for
heart
bypass
surgery. It's all happened quite quickly and is a lot to get your head around as we certainly werent expecting it. His surgery is scheduled for 3 weeks time.

One year on
Today marks the first anniversary of my triple
heart
bypass
. So grateful for the treatment I received and the support I have received from family and friends. My body has recovered really well and apart from a little discomfort when coughing or sneezing looking forward to the future.
