lactose intolerance
It could be the milk but not the lactose but the casein which is metabolised as a casomorphine. Most cow's milk contanins many form of the casein protein which is a long chain molecule. One form is the A1 form (Ibelieve that seven different forms have been found) where a side chain of the molecule fits the morphine receptor. Fortunately gots milk does not contain the A1 form and is tolerated by many people. Goats milk is available in most supermarkets and the modern commercial stuff can easily be mistaken to a slightly more creamy cows milk.
We all react differently to dairy intolerance. It's very possible the milk caused this, as it would have been quite a high dose. Unfortunately the only real way to know for sure, is to consume more, which I assume you're in no rush to do!
You dont get on with milk neither do I Why don't you just switch to soya milk it may be a bit strange at first but you soon get used to it
It's good for the planet
