As a vegan I’ll be eating something vegan, as it’s a Monday I’ll be starting C 25K week 8 run 1, I’ll walk 1 mile around a local beauty sport and do a shirt hill run in the evening. All that, I hope, will give me a good nights sleep! Whatever everyone does, stay safe.

I have no structure to my forthcoming weekend I know I want to see my son but have so many things to do I’m happy with this.
Good luck with your 25K and your hill run and then relax...👍
Thanks Jerry, I did my 26 minutes this morning and walked a mile this afternoon. Supermarkets are doing some really tasty vegan grub these days. Before it was so sparse but there’s so much on offer. Next run Friday, I’ll aim for 27 minutes but I might push it to 28.
That’s awesome VeganDave. It’s wonderful to feed yourself with healthy vegan meals, reducing carbon footprint on this earth. With that much of exercise I’m sure you will have a great night sleep! 😁👍
I’m vegan by accident, I was vegetarian but I made too much acid which was caused by caffeine and dairy, so no milk, butter, cheese and worst of all, no chocolate. ☹️ But I’ve found a vegan chocolate bar. 😋
I’m pescatarian and in the transition to be Vegan. Definitely dairy products, cheese, spices cause us acid reflux and heartburn. I’m trying to eat healthy and load myself with probiotics. Im glad you found a vegan chocolate bar to enjoy 😋
I used to eat fish a long time ago, I think I’d be worried about all the plastic in the oceans. I do hope I’m eating enough now taking on C25K as a couple of years ago my red blood cell count was low and I lacked iron. Tis kismet.
Yes I am just having my bloods checked again but I do supplement B12 and stick to Dr Gregors daily dozen and have never had a problem. You are right Dave the
choice is fantastic however the only one thing I cannot find a decent replacement for is cheese and prior to changing my diet that was what I loved. Replacements are all coconut oil based and smell vile.
Yes, cheese is a problem though I have found a vegan Greek cheese in Tesco which I liked. I’ll get the make when I go there tomorrow.
Great please let me know which one it is and I will give it a try 👍 Applewood is the only one I can use sparingly at the moment.
Hi Polly, it’s called Violife Greek White. It’s better than some vegan cheese I’ve tasted, some of which have gone in the bin after one mouthful! This one I managed to eat.
Great thanks for that VeganDave I will give it a try 👍
Good Grief, you're a busy boy! I could never have done that, even before I became disabled!
I do take my time though. Keep 🏃♂️
At 73, it's hard to get around!
Another Began popping in to say hi 👋I'd completed C25K on three previous occasions..
And had to stop due to various injury..
but this last time I had been Vegan for a year and also took up strength training on alternate days..
This time around not a single injury..have increased my distance to 14K
And never felt better in my 54 years!!
The power of plants💪
Keep up your good work
. wishing you well 🍆🌽🍅🙏
Thank you sparky66, I also do strength training, I have weights at home, I aim to do one set in the week and one set at the weekend, only about 30 minutes each time but I think it helps. Also I have to balance all this exercise with the diet, being vegan.
