Someone asked me the other day, if I could suggest any lower salt ready meals. I have dietary restrictions, so I don't tend to eat ready meals and I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations?
I'm asking on behalf of a widower who can't cook, so those are the limitations. I may be able to talk them into throwing up to 5 ingredients into a slow cooker once or twice a week.

This is nice of you Copper, all supermarkets have their own brand low salt ready meals so here’s an example:tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/s...
I agree, it's always better to learn to cook from scratch, but sometimes I think people simply have the fear of overcoming that first hurdle.
I did send some very basic slow cooker recipes over, just using frozen veg, pre-diced meat and stock cubes, so the effort is minimal but with maximum control over salt levels.
You might suggest easy meals like soups which can be made from many ingredients in the fridge/cupboard. Adding salt at the end of the cooking process when the flavors have developed is a good way to reduce salt usage. Also freezes well.
