Hi Jenna_wade12 ,

Maybe have a look through the Topics section - e.g. there is a section called 'Meal ideas' and maybe you can find something in there that you'd enjoy?

Great - and there's a section called 'healthy recipes' too, which has a lot of great suggestions:

Thank you

I want to make healthy meals without using 100 different ingredients and taking me forever to cook 😆 hope I will find some quick and easy BUT healthy recipes on there. Is there a goal you try and make everyday about your diet e.g. a lot of people’s is getting your 5 a day.

And what is the main contribution to fat ? Is it carbs? Sorry for all the questions , I’m new to This And really want to go about it the right way.

What foods should I be caution about , so I know about sugars and fats , but what else ? THANK YOU

Hi Jenna,

Have a look at the NHS Choices 'Healthy Eating' pages - there's lots of information in there - hopefully you'll find some things that interest you:

Pickles seem to curb my appetite but watch the salt

Haha will definitely have to give that a try!

I have two 'go to' snacks - one is pastrami spread with Quark, wrapped round a gherkin (tasty!) and the other is plain yoghurt with a banana and a sprinkle of blueberries (if I fancy something sweet). Hope this helps!

NUTS & seeds are filling, as well as being high in protein & micronutrients.

I buy walnuts, almonds, brazils, chia & linseeds in bulk, & carry a small tub with me so I'm not tempted by anything bad if I'm out too long. I usually add a piece of >70% cocoa solid chocolate, too, & sometimes a little dried fruit.

Most of my winter meals are soups, which are filling, high in vegetables & lentils.

I’m not a big fan of nuts , but I’m a fan of chocolate !!
