Home made gluten free white bread. ๐Ÿž

โ€ข8 Replies

Hi everyone, I make lots of variations of gluten free bread and this is a simple recipe.

350g gluten free white bread flour I used Doves farm.

300ml lukewarm water with a teaspoon of brown sugar and 2 heaped teaspoons of dried yeast left to wake up and go frothy on top.

1 Table spoon of olive oil, 1 tea spoon salt

3 large free range eggs.

Mix thoroughly in a food processor and put in a large loaf tin allow to prove 35 mins and bake for 35mins 180C For a crusty white loaf and less for a softer crust.

This is a nice simple recipe with everything available in whole food shops and some supermarkets, I love baking my own bread and have really appreciated it during lockdown as itโ€™s such a positive thing to do.

Enjoy your Friday evening now folks. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi Hidden

Your loaf of bread looks fantastic - perfectly baked! Thanks for sharing the recipe. You've reminded me that you replied to a previous query I had about using some buckwheat flour, and now I need to find what you said, as I know you'd given me some ideas for tasty recipes with it - and I can't find the post - but I hope to find it on the weekend hopefully. :-)

Hope you have an enjoyable evening and a nice weekend.

Zest :-)

Thanks Debs, the yeast is important as it likes warm water with a little sugar to wake it up and then it makes it rise nicely. ๐Ÿ˜Š
