I'm a brand new user and this is my first post. I'm looking for a diet plan for weight training. I'm looking for plan that is specifically for my body type - Mesomorph. And I am trying to add 15 pounds of lean muscle.
Any idea or sources would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest, I don't think your body shape matters too much when it comes to weight lifting. You just need to focus on getting the right technique.
You can consider a PT session, but to be honest most PTs these days aren't properly qualified and can therefore give some quite bad advice. They mostly get workout ideas and tips from YouTube videos, so you might as well go try YouTube too
Somatotypes have been debunked for quite a while. It doesn't matter the shape.
1) Diet containing ample protien to support muscle growth. Carbs are king when building muscle, fill in the rest of diet with healthy fats.
2) Find you a structured progressive overload program, start with a total body workout 3 times a week. Muscle and Strength has beginner programs. I have a list of others if interested.
3) You need a small calorie surplus of approx enough calories to gain 1/2 pound per week to avoid getting over fat. if you choose no surplus, your gains will be fairly quick the first 7-8 weeks but then it slows, but you'll be able to maintain weight. I personally do the small surplus.
Just make sure the diet is nutrient dense, it does not have to be too restrictive.
