I have read that the above helps to reduce bad cholesterol. Does anyone have experience of it?

Hi Tudee

I don't think I've ever tried that rice, it sounds interesting. :-)

Yes Zest, I read online at Healthline that only three supplements help ones heart health, Co enzyme Q 10, Omega 3 fatty acids, and Red yeast Rice,,

which is fermented rice.

Yes, I was having a read about the rice you'd mentioned, after seeing your post, and it's interesting to read about it. Are you going to try it? I hope you'll let us know how you get on, if you do try it.

Yes Zest, started this evening, it’s a natural substance, so unless one is allergic to fermented foods, or rice, there are no interactions with other meds, I shall report back. Thanks for your interest.Dee

How many carbs. does that particular rice have in it? I didn't see the article and it wasn't mentioned on any of the news stations out here.
