Hi Praveen55

Good to see this in a main stream newspaper.
It certainly worked very well for my husband. Hope all the pre-diabetic members have a read.
I cant link to the article (using work computer in my lunch break). I have reversed prediabetes (blood sugars currently in the healthy range). I don't eat LCHF but drastically reduced sugar and reduced portions of carbs with fibre a high priority. I don't eat anything "low fat" just have to watch the portion size as I still have a little weight to lose.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!
LCHF is not a fixed macros prescription but a healthy dietary approach in which macros can be adjusted according to individual's conditions/requirements.
Low carb does not mean a fixed amount of carbs for everyone. One should eat the amount of carb which he/she can metabolize efficiently. That is why there is large variations of carb intakes among LCHF followers.
Similarly, high fat does not mean one has to drink butter or coconut oil or MCT oil. These are not part and parcel of LCHF dietary approach. It all depends on the individual's conditions.
The great thing about LCHF approach is the flexibility that it offers.
When i was obese i was pre diabetic after eating a primal diet and loosing 9stone weight not only was my GP proud that i lost all the weight but that i had reversed my pre diabetes. My nan then followed and ate a primal lifstyle and she reversed her type 2. Its not so much a primal diet that helps its more that its low carb and low sugar and cuts out the junk food.
