HU also have a group Health walk and Zest posts some of her lovely collages on there so a great group to encourage you to get out and enjoy a stroll in the outdoors. Walking is a great way to help prevent obesity get fitter and enjoy life.
The photo is of a dragon fly I took when out for a summers evening walk and I'm surprised how few people I see out walking these days a very sad sign of the times.
Thanks for sharing that article - I ended up laughing at the bit where they gave ideas for those people who were worried about the affects of exercise on their hair styles! lol
I love the photo of the Dragon Fly that you took - it is beautiful! Glad you enjoyed your walk in the evening - such an enjoyable thing to do, I love walking.
Thank you too Zest and I love going for a walk as it clears my head and we see nature. I think you are amazing as you walk miles and I love your collages of Guernsey. π
The dragonfly is beautiful. You're lucky that the animals sit still for you when you want to get their picture. For me, they tend to sit and then run away when they see me with my phone out! Not sure how they know I plan to take a picture when they don't always look in my direction at the time.
I love going to take walks, but the temps. and timing has to be perfect. Not too warm and not before/after any meals and/or snacks.
Thanks Leah, I have the same with wild life and just can't photograph them quick enough so was lucky as the dragon fly was sitting on a grass stalk, so was lucky. π
