Following from my thread about greek yogurt and honey , i have done a lot of thinking and experimenting and have finally cone to a decsion regarding my eating and breakfast.
I really was not enjoying having greek yogurt and honey for breakfast and was only having it as i did not know what else to have as im wheat intolerant ( not gluten just wheat , diagnosed by a doctor) so cant have toast for breakfast and dont like any of the gluten free alternatives. I thought i was allergic to eggs as everytime i ate them i came out in a huge rash , and im not one for eating veggies in the morning, cant have cereal because of wheat and dont like oats. So greek yogurt seemed like my only option. I then a few days ago had a allergy test which confirmed i was not allergic to eggs ( i was soooooo happy) it turns out im allergic to sunflowers including sunflower oil which is what i use to cook my eggs in. That same day brother gave me another idea , chia seed puddings, i really liked what he made so i thought i could have this so before going back to eggs i made a chia seed pudding for yesterday breakfast and i really enjoyed it but an hour later i was in agony with my stomach pain. Everything else in it i was use to , chia seeds were the only new thing, i did not eat all thecone my brother made i only had a bit to try as it was his lunch. Yesterday was the first time eating a whole one. I ended up becoming ill so phoned my brother who said that chia seeds dont agree with everyone and this is your bodys way of telling you it doesn't like chia seeds.
After yesterday i have done a lot of thinking and have decided to go back to being paleo based diet wise ( paleo based not 100% paleo just basing a lot of my diet around paleo)
Im also going to start cooking again as i use to make my own bread when i was paleo based before. I know my body was happier to as i had more energy and felt better inside and out.
So for breakfast im having......
Mon-Fri \ cheesy scrambled egg toastie with spinach.
Sat\ berrie smoothie ( i miss having homade smoothies in the morning)
Sun\ egg, bacon , muchrooms and a slice of toast.
