The other day, when at the Supermarket, I bought some Lovely Looking 'Cherry' Vine Tomatoes. This evening I decided to make Tomato Soup, I didn't Look Up a recipe, I just made it. I Chopped and fried a medium/ small onion, in a mixture of oil and butter, whilst soaking the tomatoes in hot water. One of our Staff called, at this point- she stayed about twenty minutes. After she left I peeled, and De-'Stalked' (the hard bit at the end) the Tomatoes, added those to the onion- I had frying in the pan- added Boiling water, stock, white pepper and ketchup. I didn't actually measure, the quantities, I just added Everything until it 'Looked/ Felt' right. I left, it all, to cook for about twenty minutes (again 'Guessed' rather), then I Blitzed it all down. It Looked Good, Smelt Good, and Tasted....Beautiful, the right Consistency 'Everything'. I didn't even need water or flour, it was just Lovely! Needless, to say, I was 'Quite Please', to say the least.
Just thought that I'd share this, 'Yummy' thing.
