Hi Hidden

Exciting that it's British Tomato Fortnight! I LOVE tomatoes!!! Especially Vine tomatoes. They seem extremely flavourful - and also I've discovered that the Plum tomatoes are also very yummy.

I think your Homemade Cashew Nut Butter and Organic Baby Tomatoes look fantastic. :-)

Zest :-)

Just adding in a post which includes some delicious Vine Tomatoes - very tasty:

Hi Jerry

How do you make that lovely cashew nut butter?

in reply to SMITHYC

Hi thanks for asking here's the post where I made it:

You literally roast them let them cool and then grind them in a grinder and they just turn into a nut butter, so it's easy, cheaper and no additives. 😊

Thank you will be having a go at that ☺️

Your cashew nut butter looks so appetising Hidden I bought some from a shop once but it was pale and tasteless think they must have added a lot of oil, yours has inspired me to have a go myself when I’ve finished my current jar of almond butter. How long does it stay fresh?

in reply to Fran182716

Thank you Fran, I kept it in the fridge but it soon got eaten, I read that it should last for a few weeks in the fridge in a glass jar with a lid. You can also freeze it but it is so easy to make and you can't make a huge amount in a coffee type grinder so there's no need to make to much.

And good luck 😊

Thanks Jerry, a couple of weeks in the fridge will be fine I will eat it by then!
