Hi everyone,
We had a lovely meal on HE recently with crushed baked new potatoes, So today I made some and they were so tasty, I par boiled some new potatoes for 10 mins crushed them gently, scattered finely diced garlic on top with some sesame seeds and ground almonds chopped parsley and a little olive oil and baked for about 20 mins until they were lovely and crispy...I love crispy potatoes so I can see why some of you grow them...π
Hi Jerry
Yum, that looks like a very tasty dish. I am very happy that I've bought some new potatoes recently, so it looks like I might be baking them soon! I think I need to get some Sesame seeds though - but they will be useful for many things, very versatile - might have to bake some bread rolls - to have sesame seeds on top. Yum!
I would love to grow potatoes - I've often thought of doing it - maybe one day... I'd like to do it in those outdoor tubs - looks like fun.

Thanks Zest, sesame seeds are a great source of calcium and would compliment your porridge, I add them to fruit and lots of baked things, cakes cookies, crumbles they all get the treatment...
I agree about growing potatoes as it does look tempting and fun eating them...π
