Hello everyone, I do like the whats for tea tonight posts and this is what I had tonight. And considering I had to go off for an hour I decided to leave my oven on low with some skinned chicken breasts coated with turmeric (as I don't use bread crumbs) and I sprinkled them with some fresh coriander leaves, then I roasted with some potatoes and sweet potatoes and left my oven to strut its stuff. I was planning on being home earlier and would have cranked up the oven a tad to crunch up the potatoes but I was late and hungry so just had some mixed frozen veg with it. And I often wonder how fast fast food really is...
I often have a mid week roast so tonights was a bit early 🎃 and if anyone wants to share what they had that'd be good.
Ps for cat lovers my sons cat is unwell so whenever I cook chicken the cat gets a portion 🐱
Mmmm, that looks like a really great meal - very colourful and delicious. Great that your son's cat is also going to partake of your chicken! It's good to share.
I've had chicken too - and I'm also going to post my meal tonight - we can compare meals - I think it's very exciting that we can see each other's meals.
Me too and I love your pictures and am going to make your onion soup 🌰 🎃 I hope you enjoyed your chicken I had some cold crumble for puddin' so I get by...
Excellent, I hope you enjoy the soup - I made sufficient for 3 days, so I've had it 2 lunchtimes running! It tasted great today. Food often improves over time I find!
Great that you enjoyed your Crumble for dessert - I thought your topping for your crumble was excellent.
I love chicken anytime of day. Your chicken dinner is good to try later this coming weekend ( if there’s a little time). Thank you for the great idea, Hidden !😀
Ooh, your meal looks yummy Jerry and I prefer chicken coated in spice, I don't really like breadcrumbs.
