Remember, however, that we are all individuals with different needs....what is good for one person might not be good for another.

It is good to aim to keep healthy through eating sensibly, but for a thin person to cut out carbs or someone with low blood pressure to cut out salt - would not be good for those people.

Each of us needs to look at our own individual needs and work out the best diet for our lifestyle, our health, taking into account our activity levels, our age, any allergies etc. Then we will be able to take charge of our health.

I agree with you re healthy eating but unfortunately not everyone is able to eat that way. For instance, those with IBS can't always eat much fibre - I cannot eat broccoli, cauliflower, sweetcorn, raw onions, raw carrots and those that have IBS are also told quite frequently to remove the peel from fruits and vegetables.

I love what foods I have mentioned above but cannot eat them so it's very hard to eat really healthily. I am researching all the time on the internet looking for 'healthy' foods that won't upset my system.
