I just can't stop eating biscuits. I eat a lot of fruit and veg. But night time comes and my partners gets the biscuits out and I only mean to eat 1 or 2 but 6 or 8 later I feel really guilty but I just have no will power.

Hi Caden20 ,

Welcome to the Healthy Eating forum. You've identified a challenging time for you at nighttime, and that you'd like to eat less biscuits at that time. Maybe talk to your partner about this, and agree a 'plan' for helping you to change things?

I remember times when I used to eat lots of biscuits, and other things, but I've gradually cut down.

I seem to remember a helpful page from NHS Choices about reducing the amount of sugar - and biscuits are one of those items that tend to be quite sugary - so maybe have a look at that page and see if any of the suggestions are helpful to you:

Heyy!! try and replace biscuits with something else, maybe a lower calories weight watcher biscuit. Or buy those oreos with 2 biscuits in a pack so u can control ur portion size, good luck xxx

Could I suggest not buying biscuits at all ? Have a bowl of fruit around or little bowls of dried fruit and nuts. And a big glass of water.

I have problems eating at night too! Try drinking a lot of water, or even having a cup of tea. Replacing biscuits with a healthier option could help too. Also, brushing your teeth or chewing minty gum after you're done eating helps me not eat anything else late at night!

Don't buy them then you won't eat them 😉
