My hubby is Bob, he has a stomach Anerysm 5.2 cm. we are getting ready for surgery. He has become afraid of eating anything, I am very concerned as I don't know what to feed him, or what is good for him to eat? His blood pressure is high, we are working on that with a kidney Doctor, we have made many changes in our diet, but not sure what to do? Panic has set in, as he has stop eating out of fear. What to do now? I am newbie to this community. Thanks for any advice or help.

Hi, perhaps you could speak to your GP about seeing a dietitian?

In the mean time, if your husband is worried about eating solid foods, soups and smoothies might be work a try, or softer more manageable foods like cottage pie, mashed potato and fish, or soft pasta?

Wishing you well Bob

I have trouble eating because of stomach issues and now eat soft foods

Oatmeal cooked with banana and then add maple syrup. I really enjoy. I can't do dairy so just use lots of water and cook slow.

Sweet potatoe cooked and mashed is good

Use to Loved plain yogurt with a fresh fruit salad I make

Even just small bites

Best of luck!!
