Hi Portia,

Welcome to Healthy Eating forum. I usually sprinkle Cinnamon powder on my porridge in the morning, and it tastes really good. I've not used it as a remedy however.

I'm sure others will give you suggestions for how they use cinnamon - I also like to put it in cake recipes too sometimes. A lovely taste.

When you mention remedies, I'm wondering what kinds of things you mean specifically? Cold remedies, or something different?

Lowcal :-)

Peel and slice cooking apples, then microwave the slices with the cinnamon powder and a little muscavado sugar or honey, and lemon juice. Thicken with a little cornflour or arrowroot, and serve with custard........ or top with a light sponge or a crumble; then try not to eat more than one serving!
