Hello Karen ☺ I can feel the motivation in your words! ! You haven't said if your symptoms are under control so here goes with a few bits you may find useful. ...
1..what do you think would be super achievable and even fun for you activities wise? Eg 15 minutes of dancing a day at home maybe better than a 45min minute spin class in town 5 days a week
2....do you have a buddy or colleague that would like to join you? An accountability partner helps people show up
3...do you have any longer term goals? For instance I would love to do a cycle race one day, I love cycling, so I cycle a little often. If you want to walk a mountain then the nature park locally is a great start.
4. Exercise prescription. I'm not sure how this works in uk....but in nz you can get a prescription from your doc or nurse for lifestyle support from the local sport organization. They call you up and help motivate and provide group meet ups and discounts. It's called exercise referral in uk. Ask your local doc.
5. If your body is in pain then many people find aquatic exercise in pools the best.
6...take care and show yourself heaps of compassion and take it step by step. We all know here that there were factors out of our control that led to where we are. Good to hear you are reclaiming your life bit by bit.

Ps I have found that as my symptoms come better controlled. .I naturally have more energy to cook simple things like steamed veggies. Hopefully the same for you

Day with energy do heaps of activity and push and sweat. ...next 4 days am drained! ! I'm finding a middle ground 9f light or moderate activity a little a day or sometimes every other day. I learnt that just cos one day I have energy, not to expect it the next 😯 that's just me. Take care post at end of day so we know how you went. ..if you like. ..

HI Karen, welcome. Weight loss mostly involves what we eat, not being in the gym for hours What sort of foods do you eat mainly? Do you think you know where you are going "wrong"? Even a 10-15 minute walk a day is better than nothing too. It will help. I have a desk job at home, I struggle because I think, if I am not at my desk, I am not earning money. Then I had a wake up call and realised my health was more important than earning an extra £100 - £200 a month. All the best to you x
