How does drinking alcohol affect your weigh loss?  Are certain types of alcohol worse than others? (Wine contains sugar doesn't it?)  I know that when I have a drink I loose all will power and the day after I want stodgy food.  Just wondered if u health unlocked followers have given up alcohol whilst trying to loose weight?

I don't drink, but I think beer has a lot of carbs. I found this on a quick google search:

I'd think giving up alcohol altogether would be so much better (and cheaper!) than trying to change your diet to something healthy and blowing it with alcohol. Good luck!

Maybe moderation  is better. A little alcohol has been proved to be good for you, just don't eat  the nibbles.
