I was allowed 3 days off when I lost a sister. It was a sudden death. I had to go higher up to get one more day off. It was such a difficult time. It's part of what led to my depression break.

I guess, luckily, I wasn't working when my dog died. I loved that boy. That was the hardest hit I've taken so far.

People only open up to certain people they can take a risk with

Tell that to clueless doctors

Not all doctors. I have a wonderful, understanding and helpful GP. I also have been having therapy with an amazing psychologist who is really good at her job while being a lovely and compassionate person. There are good and bad people in every walk of life and in every profession.

I understand. It was a surgeon who caused my brain injury and then lied about it, so I get it.
