SHE MILKED IT WITH A SPANNER

THE MILK CAME OUT IN SHILLING TINS

I remember shillings but tanners were just before my time!

tanner =sixpence,

2x 6d - 1s.

Bet you remember them now.

I can remember Farthings

2 farthings = 1 halfpenny

2 halfpenny's = 1 penny

12 pennies = 1 shilling

20 shillings = 1puund
