I don't know if it's just this horrible weather or if I'm a bit run down but I had a really hard week last week.My FND was playing up and the pain in my head. Right at the bit were I had all the operations.
I just wanted to know when your pain is getting to you do you find it hard to think. You know concern on staff. I'm not too bad today but still finding it hard so sorry if I'm not making much sense.
And the other thing is I keep losing the power of speaking. My husband and kids think it's great lol 😆. I said to the Doctor but they can't explain it. Dose anyone else have this problem. It can last minit or a day.
Anyway the weather is turning and I'll be back down the allotment soon need to sew the peppers.
Thanks everyone I just need to put it out there. Hope you week ahead is kind to you.

It sounds like you need to lie down and take it easy.
Yes, I do experience times when I can't get the words out I want to speak, or form the speech necessary using the left-side of my face, tongue, and controlling my tone of voice. I have damage to my Brain-Stem, so I assume it is something to do with that, or perhaps something related? I don't know. It's all related to coordination issues I think.
I'm guessing your brain is overwhelmed with processing all the messages. Perhaps they are being routed through/around the area of damage?
Thanks for sharing. My brain tumor was at the stem. I have sayed to the doctors but no one seems to be able to explain it. I go for days sometime weeks and I'm OK then it hits me and my body doesn't want to work and I really can't speak.
But hey ho I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.
I'll be back in my allotment so my wee happy place.
Perhaps your body needs to undergo physical 'stress testing' to bring out your symptoms. I saw an occupational therapist in my case who put me through a workout and assessed me afterwards to see the difference.
It might also help to keep a diary of when and what the symptoms are that occur, so that you can query it with your Specialist.
Thank you for replying. I've had that and it didn't show anything new. And the Doctor said it might be because of my Partial sight loss and hearing loss in the left side. But that only a idea. I'm glad it worked for you and I hope you're getting the help you need.
Oh, you poor thing. Sounds like all the extra stuff has overwhelmed you. I often lose the power of speech when I'm overwhelmed, and in hospitals, just a sit on the floor and cry. Lie back, try to relax, and only worry about yourself and what you need. On days like that, it might be easier to pretend that no one else exists. Works for me sometimes. ❤️
Hello I hope you're better now. I don't know what would help when it happens. As I said the hubby and kid love it. 😆 I just didn't know how easy had this problem and can I fix it by doing anything else.
I also have crashed since Christmas .. it was a good Christmas but I’m guessing the work that my brain has to do before and during Christmas can’t cope any longer .. I’m very much trying to find me and look after me .. sounds very selfish but the option to not do this is impossible to return to .. I know I keep saying it but the Headspace Meditation App is very much helping my find and accept the new me … Sue
