Just wanted to post & let you know I had successful surgery on Friday. Back home yesterday a little sore and tired but on the mend. Husband is being my nurse & solo visiting son in Hawthorns until I am up to going as well. Husband put him on speakerphone so & I have spoken to him which was nice for us both - son happy when he heard my voice. He is all good in Hawthorn’s but even though I know he is very well cared for I can’t wait to be up to see him & get my winks & kisses.
Best wishes Nanapal. x

Good to hear all went well Nan. I escaped a bile duct saga a few years ago when gall stones were trying to 'muscle in' from an overloaded gall bladder. After seeing the scan my super-surgeon brough the cholecystectomy forward to prevent the complication. 😏
Anyway, no stretching for high shelves/cupboards for a while missus !
Hope you'll get your winks and kisses before long m'love ; look after yourself 'til then. Love Cat x 💐
hi Nan, glad to hear all went well, I’m sure it won’t be too long before your able to resume duties, and start visiting your son. Just make sure you take it easy and rest as you are supposed to, no good trying to rush it, otherwise you end up back at square one, and that’s no good for anyone. Your boy will want mum to be well too, and give dad a chance of a bit of one to one, take care my friend love Alice xx
Thank you very much for your best wishes. Yes I am taking things steadily but definitely feeling like I am on the mend.
Actually ventured out today and had a short visit to see son this afternoon. Seeing his all encompassing brown eyes watching and following physio’s instructions with his good arm ( slight movement left arm/hand). Held a pen in his grip and did some small lines on paper held in front of him when asked. Small thing but amazing to watch - best medicine in the world.
