Well I'm pleased to say that my brother in law has done so well after his op to remove the brain tumour. It's a miracle, he has been up and about and showered himself everyday, has walked to the hospital cafe and is looking forward to getting home asap! It has been a long week but he is communicating well and seems in great spirits! Long may it continue. He has only slight facial damage which they say will come back, although he has lost his hearing on one side but can live with that. I'm sure there will be some hurdles for him in the future as we all know but so far so good! Thank you all again for your support. xx

What great news. And the surgeons have obviously considered his quality of life in sparing as much functioning as possible.

My friend recently had a similar op and has been left without hearing in the affected ear but she's otherwise back to normal and very, very thankful.

Thank you for the update Peaches, and I hope to hear more good news in January. xx

That's wonderful news Peaches.

It must be such a relief to you and take some of the pressure off your husband.

It makes for a much better and happier Christmas than you had feared.

Merry merry Christmas to you and yours and wishing you a great year ahead.
