Well my wife's op went well. Longer than expected but now recovering well in hospital.

Hopefully home soon so as I can start my new role as nurse.

Must admit I am feeling rather relieved.

That's good to hear that your wife's op went well. It is always worrying when someone special and important to us goes for an op. Best wishes to your wife and to you in your husband/nurse role. Am sure you'll find a way that you can muddle along just fine.

Observations- blood pressure-pulse-temperature, oh and don't forget the orientation questions and all the rest of the things they regularly ply one with in hospital.

Obs yep get it now. Got blood pressure machine and can count so taking pulse should be okay.

Mmm now where to stick the thermometer! !!!!!!

This nursing lark is not as easy as it looks. On the plus side she's not sacked me yet so must be doing an ok job.

Well she's still living despite my caring for her.

Having to watch what I say now as she is getting better and so can now reach me.
