I’ve lookedonline and everything points to chronic scalp tinea which says he needs a 6-8 week course on Griseofulvin. His gp gave him a five day course on antibiotics that did nothing. Have you tried sulfur? I use the ointment. Draws out bacteria, heals, kills off many unwanted things we pick up; parasites, etc. Its $5.99 at the pharmacy, and some major grocery stores carry it, or Target, Walmart. I love it. It does have an odor, but it is a natural product.
