Hi I am new here. Im 68 years old I suffer from asthma. About 1 1/2 years ago i had insulation put in walls. the last 6 months I have had one asthma attack after another although I knew myself something was just not right. I mentioned to my G P the company that put in insulation had been in touch to say the insulation has to be removed as its causing dampness. I found black mold on my wall and brushed it off. (apparently the worst thing to do) My G P did a blood test and says I have fungus in my lungs. I have app to see my consultant next week. Glad to have found this site it is a bit easier to cope if you have someone to talk to. Cheers

You may have become sensitised to moulds in the air but there are many more common alternative explanations too so don't get too worried
