Hi EveryoneMy health has deteriorated badly since covid, I have degenerative disc disease lower facet joint arthritis and osteoarthritis in my spine all of which cause me severe sciatic pain too, I also have Keinbocks disease in my right wrist (which my lunate bone on my hand has died, so all my bones move; causing excruciating pain and I have limited use of right hand due to pain snd severe muscle wastage). Due to waiting that long for pain Injections I developed fibromyalgia on top of all of the above and starting the bloody menopause 😪 I cannot tell u how much pain I'm constantly in! I run my own business as a nail technician hence my spine is knackered and if it wasn't for the use of a drill I'd no longer b able to even work..but I do wrk, I literally take over 2 hrs to get out of bed washed and changed, after iv first been on an inversion table to stretch my back just so I can get going a little. Iv been given a disability parking bay based on my health problems and lack of mobility, 2 of my neighbours objected due to one having 3 cars and the other including their girlfriends have 7 vehicles! Since I hav been given it they are deliberately over parking the front Nd back ends of their cars over my bay to make it difficult for me, then one had the nerve to park in it whilst my hubby took me shopping whilst bringing her elderly mother for tea (,who had a badge, and I didn't mind that at all, just the hypocrisy of objecting to the bay for me; yet using it!). I don't know what's wrong with her mum and I'm not aware disabilities only affect the elderly? They obviously think because i go to wrk for long days that there's nothing wrong with me! I cannot stand for any length of time, cannot walk more than 20m at a time, constantly crippled, I can't even walk my dogs anymore on the prk as any incline or decline cripples my discs and recently had 6 Injections in my spine and have to wear lidocaine anaesthetic plasters as well as all my meds to get thru the day? I'm so peed off at the deliberate animosity shown towards me when the only reason is they are annoyed they can't put their cars outside my house? They still have 2-3 cars each while we still only have 1?? I don't want to give them the satisfaction in giving a reaction but who stops this sort of behaviour ? Iv done an online parking complaint to the council, but it's anti social behaviour..intimidation and bullying towards a disabled person!I am not a benefit sponger and still wrk as its the only independence I have left! I welcome your views in how best to approach this problem. Thank you. X

Is the parking on the road, or in a private area?

If on the road you contact the council and tell them, let them sort it out, It is between the council and the police, not sure which, but they are harassing a disabled person, (you). If you haven't got a Disabled parking sign to go on your windscreen, please try to get one . If you get full PIP it is easy to get. If not, then you approach the Council to try to get one, If they set the disabled space up for you, then they should award you one.

If in a private area, and you rent, Then it is up to your landlord to take action against them.

Hello, I really feel for you . Your hateful neighbours should be ashamed of themselves. I would report this to the police and council as a hate crime against disabled people this is discrimination at its worst. Can you also take photos of their parking, at its worst, of course! and go to your local councillor about this. Make them fight for you. It may take some of the stress away for you.Failing all that you could change your car for a small easy to park one with cameras. Or play them at their own game ,buy a very large old banger,insured and taxed obviously and park it up all day then swap yours over when you get home from work!! That will infuriate them. Hope you have some luck dealing with these horrible people.

Iv done all of the above, scope even confirmed that it is a disability hate crime..its the police who hav said its vague! They don't want to do their job and even warn them so they will stop it? Unfortunately I think if I had another ethnicity other than being just a white disabled person I'd carry a bit more clout too..as they just want to let them get away with it? The couple who instigated the whole matter - the husband had the nerve to try to say good morning! I was speechless considering they had told me all my neighbours hate me? I don't want to speak to them, I'm so disappointed at how ignorant folk can be! The council are now monitoring it to see if a traffic regulation order can be issued for this bay, if so it will mean they will get ticketed.! X

Good luck. Tell them Allah will be watching and judging. What they are doing is haram ( bad ) I doubt they will enter paradise.
