Yesterday ATOS managed to find a 30 year old woman with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities and a mental age of 3 fit for work. Her sister has been asking on Twitter if anyone knows of any suitable #jobsformeena

Thanks for sharing this Bluebird.

The whole system is not fit for purpose and is causing so much stress for people who are already vulnerable and struggling. As you say I hope it opens the floodgates.

All good wishes Saskia. XX

It does not make sense to me, it begins as an out of court settlement, further down it states, "An expert medical report, ordered by the Court"

Still it is nice to see people taking action against ATOS. If you have a disability and you can't get access to an ATOS medical centre, sue them for discrimination. :)

i lost a esa tribunal thanks to ATOS they just put want they and make up the answers as they go along!!

ATOS wanted me to go to a medical, i phoned them and explained that the people that do the medicals normally come to my house. I was told that they no longer do it, unless you have a letter from your doctor and specialist. I explained this to my doctor who did a letter explaining that if ATOS had read my notes they would have found out that the doctor has provided letters on many occasions, explaining that i cannot walk more then 5 metres and that even doing that causes me pain, plus i cannot use public transport because of fear and pain. Atos sent me a letter informing me that the benifits office had cancelled my appointment and i was no longer required to go to a medical at this stage.

ATOS make recommendations. Ultimately it is DWP who make the final decisions.

As for some recent decisions highlighted here, am speechless. An unusual occurrence for me!
