ive only been diag 3 weeks its knocked me for 6 even tho ive had sympons for almist 10 yrs thznks xx
I felt really drained today after walking my dogs.my shoulders hurt my neck felt as if I was being strangled.am concerned as have lost weight recently and still have cough but couldn't get to see my DR yesterday or today .they said he was fully booked .
My main problem is neck and shoulders too, although now gone to my hips.
As lyrica can take a good couple of months to properly kick in, see if you can get other pain killers in the meantime.
If you are struggling to look after yourself, get onto adult social care on Mon. They can provide help for you in addition to help with meals, activities, etc with the children.
I have a care package that helps me get showered, hair wash, dress bottom half. I also have help with laundry, cleaning and meal preparation as children need balanced diet and couldnt cut veg, etc or cook as left me exhausted and major pain and a danger. I have a direct payment for social activities for my daughter as cannot do. Cant walk far or drive far, so pay someone else to do it. I go if its something I can do, and a good day. It has changed her life as she spent the weekends at home bored and only thing we could do was go to the cinema.
Good luck, any questions please ask.

You can message me on here, look on the top bar. I know how you feel as I.have.just turned 42. I suppose it's easier for me as I have just got the one child and I am a social worker with physical disabilities, so knew the sort of assistance I was entitled too. It was so hard though when after yet another bad fall and subsequent flare phoning my team manager to admit needing help. Luckily she was brilliant and she was covering for the manager for where I live.
Having the right help has changed our lives.
