A poem to brighten your day.

Breathless and trembling I fumble with my keys.

You are beside me. Your very presence urges me on

compelling and beguiling me. I must have you, my need is great.

I cast my coat upon a chair and place you precisely

in the centre of the room. I want to take it slowly, I want to

Savour the moment, make you wait for your fulfilment.

Your only role in life is to pleasure me. Look at you, still as a stone in

your purple attire. Carefully I disrobe you, stroke your velvety skin.

I can smell you and it drives me wild.

Control goes as first I lick and then I bite. You are Bliss.

“A scrumptious Toffee Flavour Truffle containing a smooth, light

toffee flavour truffle centre covered in delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk.”

Happy chocolate week!!!!!

Oh Spidey - must you torture me so?

That's my favourite choc, and I have been given a strict 'NO SWEETS' rule by my daughter - who has my health foremost in her mind, of course!

Sits in cold garret nibbling on a limp lettuce leaf :(

PS. You didn't write 'Fifty Shades of Grey' by any chance, did you?

Am I the only person who hasn't read 50shades ... What am I missing out on?

I haven't read it. Read too many reviews. OK for the sex but no story line, didn't bother with it after that.

You haven't missed much, VG - it's soft porn written in a way that women find appealing - not too brutish, if you see what I mean. explicit but soft focus

I found it a bit boring after the first two chapters, 'cos it was all lingering looks and heavy breathing and I thought - why don't they just get on with it, then have lunch like most people do?

Oh, and the hero is a sado-masochist - he likes to tie people up and dominate them before the main event - what a waste of time when you could be eating chocolate!

I think Spidey writes it better!

Oh this book is brilliant... but you really need to read the set to get the gist of how good they are and why the hero is like he is, I have never read any erotic romance novels before apart from the odd Jackie Collins, and she is too sugary sweet and high class for me. I rally enjoyed the Greys though.....Mind you, it could be a bit of wishful thinking on my part......but I do have a sado- masochist living with me his name is fibromyalgia.

I have not read it either but from what I have heard tell I could probably write it better!!!

Indeed you could, Spidey!

I feel rather ashamed - I seem to be the only disgusting person who absolutely couldn't resist reading it. I read everything I can lay my hands on, tho' rarely stuff with a pornographic content!

It's not pornographic it is an erotic fantasy....think like a teenager who loves a certain pop star...or a young woman who fancies the pants of her boss tutor whatever....it is the stuff of dreams no more no less, If we didn't have dreams what could we do take away the hard knocks life throws at us.

The author of these books could even be an old bachelor/spinster who has never experienced an erotic moment. Even someone in an abusive relationship that penned the book to try and make sense of the pain. I was once told in a Literature class that authors possibly put something of themselves into their work.

Oh no, I can't take chocolate anymore because of my Interstitial Cystitis! But for those in the same boat, Carob is nearly as good.
