Do you have to be on the higher mobility rate of DLA, before you are entitled to the Blue Badge. (((SOFT WARM HUGS))) to all.
Blue Badge.: Do you have to be on the... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Blue Badge.
I do get lower rate Mobility & Care, so here's hoping, I thought you had to have high rate Mobility to qualify, Thanks Wendy for the feedback. (((SOFT WARM HUGS)))
I got my blue badge before I got DLA, I applied to my local Council and was approved after an assessment by a physio.
I also got my blue badge whilst waiting for DLA too. My GP supported it.
I had my blue badge long before dla. I had to fill a form in and take it with a photo to council offices. I had to pay £2 then wait for a decision in post. Every council is different so give them a ring and find out the procedures.
I filled out application online to my local council and sent off the £20 fee, photo and document evidence. I had my assessment on Friday and was granted a Blue badge with no problem. It should arrive in two weeks. I have never applied for dla and work full time (just!!)
