I am in the same boat as you at the moment they have told me it could take 18 weeks for them to actually give me a date this will then be nearly 12 months since I started getting the middle care I am fighting for the mobility care as I am housebound and it is making me really depressed good luck with your appeal xx

One appeal took me two years to get there. I have another one in two weeks, thats taken 13months from the start of the appeal! Its a joke having to wait that long! x

Funny story time, I was in appeal and was still in appeal when I got a letter to attend another ATOS medical so I had 2 appeals going at the same time.

I had my appeal heard on 8/3/13 and the start of the appeal was july 2012 and now ive won it it will take anything from 6 to 8 weeks to sort back money that is owed to me, didnt take the government that long to stop it!

I have been waiting for12 months and have been told it will be at least another 6 months. It depends where you live. My local welfare rights told me that in this area they are particularly good at handing out 0 points at the ESA medical so the tribunals are backing up.

You should wait about 3 months after refusal as they may take into account what you said on your forms before. Not sure though about the new PIPS thing. Perhaps you could contact welfare rights or the CAB as they might know the best thing to do

What gets me mad.Any papers you have to fill in and return always have a date they have got to be in.Usually 1 month.I have waited months and months for a reply. If we only have 1 month to give our answers then surely they should also reply no later than one month

Yes I hate that too. My foggy brain won't allow me to fill forms in quickly especially when you have to worry about what you're saying and the way you say it. It's so easy to land yourself in it just by wording something wrongly. I have to read and re-read what I've written so many times I need at least 3 months!
