Football! Liverpool and England but I will watch any team play.......I just love the game! X
Swimming , gymnastics and athletics all have me glued to the screen, so that doesn't happen often, but the Olympics had me in rapture from beginning to end. I love watching dressage and the odd bit of three day eventing, I made it to Badminton to watch one year, but it turned into a massive shopping experience.....all hugely over priced, a bit of dressage watching and soaked by the torrential rain !! Come the summer I love flat horse racing, Ascot etc, not keen on national hunt with its jumps and am driven into a positive rage (which for me is very out of character) by the Grand National........I think it's criminal trying to make the poor horses jump ridiculously large obstacles. I long for the time when somehow, someway, they put a stop to it. Every year horses get killed and that really really upsets me and makes me so angry.
Sorry VG but I can only say the moment racing cars comes on I start watching the walls and the paint drying hehehe. One of my great friends, like you, is a fanatic, and wants to go and watch...she asked if I would go and keep her company.........I said just the thought of it, the smell, the noise etc and I would be off into migrainesville.
Anyway each to their own, as the saying goes, life's rich tapestry !!

Joins in Foggys rant about the grand national..... Actually I think all horse racing should be done with no jockeys.... It's like asking the 100 metre athletes to do it with a small person on their back.....
VG x
Agrees, thinks it would be fun if they all had little kermis strapped to their backs instead of jockeys
Shall we get a petition against the Grand National..........I would chain myself to railings, pain and all, to stop,it !!
Do you have a supply of chains ready ..... Now I am wondering if you do then why..... Do you chain yourself up on a regular basis... Or does someone help you... Wonders where this conversation could lead
No no no and no on all counts........but I would go than ironmongery and get them if needed..........l am Good Girl !!!!
Actually VG I saw a whole heap of them when I was in your cupboard the other day, was it anything to do with the Zombies......or are you holding a secret.......? Just an ickle question that had to be asked hehehe

It was to tie up the assasin and interrogate them into who hired them
Hmmmm that's your story and you're sticking to it ? Hehehehe.
Yes, those poor horses - and if they fall down they just shoot them - terrible!
question was anyone got a passion for? well I have a passion for amongst other things gardening - flowers hostas daisys
food italian and the country and the men
life and friends happiness and laughter
God bless my friends Mum has just died xgins
(((gins))) you really are having a tough time at the moment poor you. I too love gardening......when pain allows, I must say though that on Monday I sowed a tray of cosmos seeds, popped cling film over the top, popped them on the window sill of my living room and guess what, they are through and almost at a point where I could prick them out. Every year I do this but this has been the fastest ever. They are seashell cosmos and they really do my garden proud. I often lay myself flat on my back for a few days having done more than I should in the garden....with the words "pace yourself pace yourself" from my pain management team ringing in my ears I
Sending gentle hugs and positive thoughts your way,
Foggy x
Oooooohh chains and riding whipp ooooh cant take the anticiption I do so like couch rugby pmsl
I am a footy fanatic too. I used to be a season ticket holder at the Villa until my daughter was born 12 years ago and was lucky to see them play in the last FA cup at the old Wembley stadium. I have also seen England, which was fab. My daughter hates me watching football as I shout at the tv too much, lol.
My mother is Welsh and my late father English but I was brought up on Welsh rugby, which everyone feels is strange that I support them but my dad preferred his footy.
I love watching the warm up and qualifying on F1 but not fussed on the race and the champagne is such a waste.
I loved the Olympics too last year but my daughter laughed so much about me crying all the time.
I hate horse racing too
i am also an F1 fanatic and this year we are going to silverstone to watch british grand prix cant wait xxxx
