On a Positive note....

Sorry not been on for a while, been busy trying to get back to work. At long last got clearance from occupational health and work that I can return to normal duties on Wednesday, so can now relax. After tolerating this fracture in my ankle since breaking it on May 2nd and receiving inadequate treatment from it originally was why it had taken too long to heal. So relieved that back to work at full wage, negligence claim has been submitted to the hospital, lawyer has said got a very strong case. The hospital sent me a 9 page report into treatment and have stated that I received the wrong treatment which has prolonged my injury and further needing surgery in October. At long last I can now get some normality in my life. My fibro and polymygalia is in control at the moment and not causing too much pain, just constant tiredness, but then once I get back into my work pattern things will fall into place. Always remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I find by being positive about my conditions and not giving into them has helped me tenfold. I am aware we are all different but by trying to take each as a new day and trying to have at least one positive thought about the day ahead helps. Sounds like you have a strong case if the hospital have admitted liability - they may even settle 'out of court' which would be good.

Hope things go well for you and that you soon get back to normal.
