Fibro Fibro everywhere

I just spent 4hrs at the breast clinic today my Dr referred me as I am having alot of breast pain. so went thru examination and mammograph, (which has left me very bruised) to be told in the end that my Fibromyalgia has now spread to my ribs and breast bone and there was nothing I can do about it

So sorry to hear this, lainey85. I have never heard of this particular symptom before. FMS is a very strange condition isn't it?

Well, take things steadily and rest your sore, bruised "credentials". I hope you feel a bit better tomorrow.

Sorry you have this it's called chostochondritis inflammation of the rib cage where the ligaments join front and back ,, first thing I developed with fibro had it 22 years on bad days it hurts to breathe , you have my sympathy... Pain killers , rest and warmth help, sometimes lasts hours sometimes days/ weeks, mine is pretty constant now to some degree some days I manage those comfy stretch bras other days can't bear even them

My sympathies. I have constant breast tenderness as well as shooting/stabbing pains sometimes. It doesn't feel like the rib cage pain - it's in the breast tissue itself. I'm guessing that's what you have and why they did the mammogram. It would seem to be hormonal except it's all the time and the stabbing would seem to be neuropathy/MS- like??? Looks like if they can't see anything on a test it's 'just fibro' and 'get on with it'. Gentle hugs.
