I think I feel better today....

i think I feel better today but not sure yet as I've only been up an hour. What? I hear you say. I'm not sure if yesterday just washed me out completely after my sleepless night and horrible experience going for hydrotherapy. But it could be the tablets. I was given 'Gabapentin' to try about 3 weeks ago. Starting wiht one a day for a week and then increasing to one twice a day for the next week, yesterday I started on one 3 times a day. I have to continue like this for two weeks then see my GP. Apparently they can be increased to very high doses if necessary. I also took a couple of codyramol before bed so the combination might just have knocked me out, tempting to do this every night, or maybe I was just so exhausted. However, I'm a aching a little today but not as bad as I expected. I do think the Gabapentin are working a little, my continuous pain is less but my exhaustion is still the same, guess they can't cure everything

. Having an easy day today and considering writing a letter to the hydro unit to explain my reasons for not wanting to come back. Unfortunatley I don't have anyone that could take me and drop me of,f as suggested by someone, as my appointments (that can't be changed now) are right on picking up the kids from school time. I have never tried gabapentin but I take dosulepin 75mg each night = 3 tablets oh they help me sleep. Saying that last night didn't have the best night but certainly I am luckier than others on here, I tried coming off them and went straight back to not sleeping once they had left my system yes pain relief would be nice too I,ll just leave a note out for Santa asking for sativex

I am not taking any pain meds but I do take Amitripyline 50mg at night. I was on them in the past but they stopped working so I had a very long break off them. Now I am starting on them again, first month was 20mg at night and did nothing. I slept 5 hours two nights on 50mg and now they are doing nothing for me. I think if you are in severe pain no amount of tablets will work. I am unfortunate int he fact I cannot take the neds that people say help them. xxxxx
