Hi there
I used to ask this but now I no
Me personally I first feel freezing cold cant heat up then I'm really tired then the pain increases until all my fibro symptoms are more intense , so things that are mild become severe. Hope this helps Michelle
It's the worst of days, the worst of pain. x
Like kilts I feel very cold, tired and sore. I don't want to be around other people, just haven't got the energy to talk to them or bother about how I look to them (ie falling asleep & grumpy!!) Then the pain escalates, I may feel quite sick and have cramps in all my muscles. After the cramps comes the weakness and the total inability to do anything...
Ye I'm bad when cold damp weather comes one minuet I think it's under control then crash weather change and my fibro flares . U will no when u have ur first flare u just go oh so that's wat they mean . Michelle
I get that freezing cold, flu type feeling, then get boiling head with pounding headache, can't face food or liquid & can't keep eyes open, even though I'm awake. Then the indescribable pain. Having flare up at moment, into 3rd day, still as bad although feeling a bit warmer - have come out from my blanket! Maybe it's easing! You'll get to recognise your own pattern.
I often feel rubbish for a few hours - a mini flare maybe.
It is the terrible tiredness, lethagy and feeling of not knowing what to do to stop the pain that continues for a longer period of time that tells me I'm having a flare ... haven't spotted warning signs yet ... they just seem to happen especially if I have a virus or I've overdone it.
