I would have to say yes to that. I was diagnosed 21 years ago. My fibro has now reached the chronic stage so I am in pain constantly

Yup I have had fibro over 20 years .... But it was hardly a problem at allwhen I was active now I have arthritis too it's deffinately got worse.. And when I get stressed my ibs decides to join in too.

i was diagnosed in 2001 and now mine is chronic i think everyone is different though.it took me a while to accept it .hope this helps xx

thankyou every1 , i have had it a few years now but last few months ive been bad with it , ive had alot of stress recently so i thought this may be making me feel worse. i just want it to go away i carnt cope sometimes . xx

Sadly it seems yes - it can be long term - but sometimes it subsides - then

like a tsunami - it rushes in again. Sorry can't be more positive.
