When the days get longAnd the nights become longer
Just listen to yourself
And let your body become stronger.
The pain & the suffering
It's just not happening to me
Just keep searching for that door
That will set you free.
Feeling down trodden
Like laying in the dirt
For your body becomes a church
Where I can heal my hurt.
Looking for medical answers
In this world
Are like stuck in a whirlwind
Where we are hurled.
Just pace yourself
For when the pain is there
Because there is others
Who really do care.
Don't listen to the ones
Who say it's all in your head
Cast away there words
Because no word or tear should ever be ahead.

Lovely poem Fibro1966,
Is it one of your own or did you find it?
No matter, it's content and forward flow makes it easy on the mind and thought provoking

Superb work, loved it 👍, thank you for sharing. The 'searching for that door, that will set you free' brought tears to my eyes as it is exactly how I feel, trapped and trapped in my own body 😞
