Hello there, l too and having much pain with my thigh, which now seems to be affecting my hop as well. I recently was advised (by phone) to go to the hospital for x-ray. Result, mass at top of leg diagnosed as swelling of soft tissue. (Had previously fallen in the garden(sneaky plant pot lol) and then fell backwards in the bath while drying feet as hip buckled) so after long tale, it may well be something as simple (though painful) as this. Please speak to GP.

Sorry to read of your pain. I would chase the doc again just for a piece of mind that it is muscular especially if it’s gone on awhile. For me shoulder pain fits in with my fibro A good soak in my Epsom salts bath, and during the day I use bio freeze , (but always check with your chemist before using with any other meds xx

Thanks for your support x

Hi

I'm so sorry you are in pain. I do have pain all over 24/7 due to my many conditions.

I do have hip/top of leg. I was referred to musculoskeletal and was diagnosed with degeneration of the facet joint, I had one lot of injections in January which didn't work. They phoned me last week about trying them again. The only problem being there was a chance they could have been in contact with covid-19, I was told I could delay it and wouldn't be put to the bottom of the waiting list. I am extremely high risk and have been shielding since March. I discussed it with my family and I decided I would rather cope with the pain for longer rather than risk covid-19 especially now our area are on restrictions. It was a tough choice, though.

I do hope your pain eases. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx ❤️🤗🌈💜

I'm in agony with my hip too.. 5 years ago my doctor diagnosed bursitis but it wasn't letting up.. They sent me to physio but pain was getting worse.. I had to fight for 4 years before they would xray it.

The hip is starting to wear away.. She said it's common in childbirth.. I told her I have never had children.. She got all flustered and had to Google it.. Lol.. Just googled the name again.. It's condesans illi.. Co-codamols help a bit but nothing seems to be touching it at the moment and pain has moved round to my groin in the last year.. I am pretty sure it is arthritis I have now as my gran had bad osteoarthritis..

My shoulder only hurts because I fell down a few stairs in March at the start of lockdown.. I haven't even gone to see doc about that as my doctors are pretty hellish at the best of times..

Hi

I have constant pelvic pain but particularly bad pain in both hips and the tops of my legs. One side worse than the other. No pain killers touch it. I have had scans and xrays and they have found nothing. I have had the busrsa injection and a spinal injection. So far nothing has worked but I am still pushing for answers although my gp is putting it down to part of fibro. Keeping everything crossed that you get some answers but do keep pushing.

I am currently awaiting more tests from the neurologist to see if he can shed any light.

Take care

Sorry to here about your pain.i also suffer from hip groin and leg pain I had an x-ray done last year when I was diagnosed with fibro and they found nothing but it yet it has gotten consdruble worse since then. My gp just puts it down to fibro even though my dad side of the family all suffer from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis as well. Still trying to get answers. I hope you get to the bottom of it x

I would go to a physio. They are good at diagnosing cause or sending you off in the right direction for further help.

Hi, I'm.so sorry to hear you're suffering with so much pain. Like you I'm suffering with the most terrible pain in my hips & lower back. The pain is worse in my left hip & hardly sleep because of the pain. I struggle to get dressed or put my shoes on & find the pain gets worse as the day goes on. I get numbness & pins & needles my legs, feet, arms & hands. I have had x rays which haven't shown anything apart from "normal wear & tear" My GP doesn't know what the problem is & puts everything down to fibro. I'm feeling so down with it all & don't know what else to do.

I hope you feel better soon xx
