When I go away abroad or just any where different ...

I have all ways adopted the characteristic that i can do things :- what am I on about well I have a fear of steps with gaps in but do I let this stop me from going to new places or taking trips- I walked around the edge of a wooden pier to be met with wrought iron steps down into the sea - I froze my partner carried me back and we found a way around so I could still go in the speed boat (this was many years ago) I am aware that I can by being positive do any thing if I really want to I still have this attitude - be positive - it helps. One time I used this attitude to climb the ramparts at Lincoln Castle I got stuck hehe on the top and my daughter had to talk me down (embarrassing not really a good laugh)

So today I am going to set my mind to preparing the magazine for the blind that I do and then I shall sort my desk and see where that leads me so it is house in order day! Speak to you later x gins

Gins you sound like me i have always had this fear used to drive my mom mad. my grandson goes to karate and i have to climb thesesz steps that are outside the building my god they make me sick but i am determined not to pass on this fear to my grandson. but glad tpo see youar like me determined good luck with mag

That is a very commendable attitude Gins! I have a thing about steps too. I have really strange dreams about climbing staircases with slippery, missing or broken steps. No idea what a dream analyst would make of that!
