why do my feet feel like they are on ... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
why do my feet feel like they are on fire and hurt so much?
I think it's because you have fibromyalgia!
I get this, and it's my most annoying symptom, because it always starts at bedtime and keeps me awake at night.
A tepid foot soak seems to help, also massaging some peppermint foot lotion onto feet, toes and ankles. You might also consider some pain medication - and do keep your feet up when you are seated.
Hope this helps ... love Moffy
Hi I get a lot of foot pain especially in my right one, it almost feels like my toes are being pulled over like there's a tightness and you can see them curling over, and they swell, I keep them elevated when I can, oh and also when coming down the stairs it almost feels like my Achilles is snapping, most uncomfortable and painful, when really bad I just stay off my feet as much as I can

i have had steriod needles in both my feet the docs thought it was plancter fasciutes but now put it down to fibro i allso have bad leg cramps in my legs at nite and feet i cant go to bed without socks on and stopped meds as the sideaffects wereoutweighing the good side
Have you tried quinine for the cramps, that's what I use and they really do help,I get them off my doctor, if he woot prescribe them try drinking a glass of soda water as that has quinine in it also, x
My doc said it was just the F/M with me. Every morning I could hardly walk, I felt like an old woman.(not at all only54) Out of 18 pairs of shoes only 2 were of any use to me. I got an appointment with another GP & he has diagnosed Plantar Faciitis. Ihave been to the specialist & have been given some insoles to fit my shoes .It took a wee while to get used to them & can only wear them for a few hours at a time. Going to USA for 3 weeks soon & not looking forward to soer feet. My meds are MST (morphinesulphate) GABAPENTINE (muscle re
laxent) These are for FM on another 4 meds . Guess who will will be asked to open hand luggage. HA! HA!....... ME!! I would see your GP & mention all your symtems. Good luck sending fibro hugs (((O))) x

Hi, I get this all the time and it is so painful. sometimes when i am out i have to stop and sit because i cant walk any more with the pain in my feet. Other times when im out i just keep going so i can get back to the car quicker and come home (and walk on my tip toes!!! which doesnt really help my hiops and back!!) For me i get it in the morning a lot but also at night and even putting my heels on the bed really hurts, i end up hanging my feet out the end of the bed just to try and help with the burning and so nothing is touching them!!!!!!!
It really is a horrible pain.
Take Care

My feet are agony, too! They always feel tired and sore, and seem to mostly have the sensation that I'm walking on a bag of marbles - like there are little lumps in my feet. I do also have a couple of bursae, which doesn't help, and they do get very hot, even if they don't feel it on the surface of the skin.
Unfortunately, I'm a podiatrist, and still can't sort myself out, as it seems to just be a symptom of the fibro, and without an obvious cause or cure. All I would say is that very cushioned shoes, or poron/memory foam insoles will help with the pain, as they'll shock absorb.
Hope you find something that helps!

My feet are the same, they sweel up and are real red and sore most of the time, I put wiht help often moisturiser on them daily and they are dry as sandunes the next day, awful, when I wake up in the morning or try to walk without my croks (in the house) I stumble and nearly fall and feel like I'm too walking on a bag of rocks, is there no respite for this blasted illness xx gentle hugs to all xxxx
