Me to not pleasant going to ask doc for xray just to be on the safe side, I do use a crutch though and it really helps with the pressure smiles and hugs xx

Hi suwie, mine does too, ive had xrays on it but they came back normal, i can be walking normal and then all of a sudden it hurts that much that i have to stand still. My current pain relief isnt very effective but im now having accupuncture at the hospital. Does anyone else find that people think your making it up with fm as you can be fine one day and in agony the next? Xx

Thank you it does

Hi all. I had really bad hip pain and even had jabs in it as they thought I had bursitis, but believe it or not deanna it was my back, they call it referred pain. I ended up having 2 vertebra fused in my lower back and the hip pain got alot better. They do both hurt again now as do most my joints but as you say that is part of fibro. I find putting my legs up helps too.

Hugs to all xxx

It could be osteoarthritis...I had to have both hips replaced because of it, although the surgeon wouldn't operate for a few years because he said I was 'too young'!

Hi I have the same thing and my hip is bad the surgion said it is because of the way | am carrying myself with the fibro and the arthritus in my knees and it is wearing on my hip ....He also said my core muscles need some work and then it could ease the pain . You need to know if you have wear and tear on your joints.

The fibro pains have been helped by my meds from the pain clinic x x Good luck x x x

I do hope you soon feel better,

Gentle hugs

My hips seem to burn after walking and I assume it's another fibro symptom.

I've had x-rays which were clear but had a bout of bursitus a couple of years ago and had physio on them.

I really do think that it's my legs hips shoulders and neck which suffer most from my fibro aside from the headaches itching etc.

I have to try to preserve my energies if I need to go shopping or go for a walk anywhere, and I always suffer from the burning. I describe it as my hips screaming at me.

Get it checked out as we all have different symptoms with fibro.

Hugs Rn Robin...xxx
