Hi all, I have at last found a lightweight hairdryer that is also really fast too, unlike the travel ones which are lightweight. If anyone else is looking for one it is Babyliss turbo shine 2000. It is mainly for a sleek look, but the best bit is it is only £14.99. My wrists and arms are very happy!!!!

Lightweight hair dryer at last!
Thanks for the info. Does it help your hair look sleek? Mine can look a little dry and frizzed at the sides ( prob cos I colour it and it is the dreaded grey under) I find I have to straighten it too or I look like Worzel Gummage!
Hugs to you xxxx
Hi, yes it does, that's the ionic bit, my hair is wavy and coloured and it was great as I didn't have to use straighteners. It is more suited to you actually, if you look at the reviews on Boots website it may give you more info. Not having to staighten every time is a godsend! Hope that helps. X
Thank you, that's brill, will go and get one tomoz xxx
Hi BB
I also have problems with holding things for a prolonged period of time one of which is the hair dryer. I will def have a look at the one youve suggested. I also recently seen a promo on tv for a handfree flexible stand on which you place your hairdryer. You then bend the long flexible arm into the required position and dry. Cant remember at the min which of my sky channels was promoting it (damn fibro fog) but im gonna try to track it down and see if its worth buying. At the min my kids 17- 25 are dryin and styling my hair for me with varying results some days I too look like worsel gummage lol - awww bless em they try hard

I too have problems drying & styling my hair. I have a lightweight hairdryer but my hair is really long and it takes ages to dry. Luckily it is naturally very straight so I don't have to use straigteners just a bit of frizz ease. Considering getting my hair cut to a more manageable length but don't really want to
Seems like we all have problems, i do use ghd travel one which not too bad and fast.
I have another little one aswell .
I have minuature straightners . But it dont matter what you have when comes to doing hair its still a struggle with arms.
Just had my haire dyed Black/red tint of red.
Hubby does it as he said
Think we need that hair washing and dying LOL
This is how much i have transfirmed from the profile pic (brunette one)
But i will definately check the hair dryer out as i love gadgets.
xxxxxx
thats wicked if could afford that.still on assesment rate e.s.a.
so got mine from a charity shop its a remmington one and you wot im not proud.its lightweight and was cheap.x
I gave up with hairdryers years ago as it was too painful. I now have a style which let's me wash and dry naturally. One gadget less!
Thanks bbfreak just what i need my hairdryer weighs like a brick, and i have impinjment problems in my right arm.So anything lighter would be a blessing.
Hugs Butterfly54xxxx
Thanks so much bbfreak, this will help me no end as my current hairdryer hasn't got enough oomph and is far too heavy for my wrists.
I am sure you are going to help many of us with this hairdryer!
Thanks, hope so! X
when i used to still be able to blow dry my hair i bought from argos a black remington 3 speed ,3 heat adjustment light weight hairdryer(cost£8.99) my partner dries my hair still with it now and that makes it about 7 years old and still going strong,(used 2 to 3 times a week!!!)
I got one online - its not lightweight but not too heavy and it is superfast - I love it! its parlux 2800
parlux.co.uk/3200.htm they have got a new one out so if i was buying now id go for this instead
I cut my hair about 2 months back. With such long hair and head sweats it was never dry and had been getting markedly thinner over the past few years!
Hated cutting it, but love the new spikey style and so easy to wash and dry. Feeling like a punk rocker now.
I was planning to grow it again but am not sure I want to now
My Favorite is Karmin! \ö/
