hi there! Yep - me too, i have osteoarthritis too. There are many diff types of arthritis one of which is fibro, so its not uncommon to have more than one type.

i have fibro in the usual places, osteo is getting really bad in my hands which affects everything i do! Hope this finds you on an ok day :-)

That's a lot of us, isn't it!

I have mixed arthritis as well as fibro, but the fibro is much more difficult to cope with, in my humble opinion. Arthritic pain tends to ease when you rest, whereas fibro seems to get worse. It's a bit of a balancing act to try to get just enough exercise to help the fibro without upsetting the other b*!

Oh well, there's always someone worse off!

Love and hugs ... Moffy

Yes I have wide spread Osteoarthritis.. I'm not to sure which pain is worse.. Sometimes I get flare ops of both..

Yes I have Osteoarthritis. It used to bother me, but since having Fibromyalgia and associated pains I seldom notice my Osteoarthritis any more. I've become used to arthritic pain.

Me too. Though theyve treated me for past 12yrs as hvg Rheum. Then tell me its Zero Negative arth. Then tell me its fibro? What do u believe? They did say i hve onset arthr in my feet, my toes get so painful. I do hve high levels of inflammation going on in bloods. So hey ho x

hi Yes I am afraid it is quite possible to have both one however, will be the stronger. I find the pains from the osteoarthritis is very dominant. The pain killer concoction sorts it out manly I take a mixture of slow release tablets with a breakthrough pain re-leaver oxyconton 20 - 40 mg Do be careful talk to your Doctor and follow his instruction. Visit Fibroaction.org for medication assistance. Remember to always see your Doctor if something new occurs or your pain increases do not struggle through there is no point and you are the only one that gets hurt xxgins
